Primer and PrimerVentures.com
Has anyone seen this website: (http://www.primerventures.com)? According to an article I read today on Chud its purpose is to promote this new movie coming out, Primer. Godsend did the same thing with The Godsend Institute. What do you think of movies being promoted through bogus companies (like PrimerVentures and the Godsend Institute)? Can you think of more movies that have done the same thing?

Sorry, kind of OT but has anyone seen this flick (been to Sundance say)? I read a hot review about it in (ulp) Esquire (which I get free thanks to the deals forum ) and it sounded very cool.

I personally thought the film was vastly overrated. The dialogue, while supposedly grounded in some reality, was overwhelming and a tad pretentious to viewers (like myself) who came across more confused than entertained. At a brisk 80 minutes I also felt the film's premise and theories caused more plot holes and uncredibility, essentially, the film three quarters of the way through started to collapse on it self.
