Has anyone seen this? It's a guy in bed with some other guy wearing a big fake 'Burger King' head?
Good gawd! Is that just the creepiest, most disturbing commercial or what?

I agree. Hand check !!!!
I would promote whoever thought this up.
Just edgy enough to get people talking.
The title of the thread did say 'Burger King'. Advertising ripple effect.
What really makes it creepy is the mask.

I don't know..
that Carl's Jr (and I guess Hardee's for the rest of ya not out west) ad a few years ago that was a person walking around with a huge knife, camera tracking the blade only, going along a path of red drops everywhere, only to burst in on a guy eating a burger was pretty damn creepy too..
more so then the BK ad IMO. Being the BK ad, when I first saw it, made me think it was someone dressed up as a joke, giving someone else breakfast in bed more then anything creepy.. Ok, when it's over and you are going "WTF?" it's pretty creepy but still, going to go with the Carl's ad for all time creepy..
oh and I'm sure it's not just me but about every 3rd ad for some sort of Viagra like product seems really creepy too.. as they try to work in all the wink wink nod stuff vs. just saying "Now my husband and I can have sex again." The medical talk of all that can go wrong at the very end of the ads also helps the creepy factor.....

The first one I saw was weird, ending with the schlub and the king laughing it up while still in bed. Then the ending changed. Now the king puts his hand on the guy's hand, and they share an awkward homoerotic moment.

I belive it's suppossed to be some kind of ackward "morning after"moment, where the King is hoping to take their relationship to the next level by bringing his new love a cresandwich.

I was like wtf when I saw that commercial. I certainly wouldn't be taking a breakfast sandwhich from that thing, I'd probably have a heart attack just at the sight of that weird sh!t lol

I thought it was creepy too.
You know that someone, somewhere, has sexual fantasys about the burger king. They're probably watching that commercial over and over and over and over...

Everytime I see it, I imagine a fast food slasher movie. A nerdy McDonalds employee somehow gets his face mutilated in the deep fat fryer, due to some sort of prank by his fellow employees. He comes back and exacts his revenge, killing them one by one while donning the Burger King outfit as his disguise. There would even be a gag in the trailer with a cameo by Morgan from Super Size Me, saying "McDonalds? That stuff'll kill ya."
