The first box set of this series was released a while back (containing the first 21 of 43 total episodes). Where's part 2? Did this not sell well or something and subsequent release plans were scrapped (similar to Mary Tyler Moore Season 1)?

Howard has no involvement w/ the DVD releases therefore he doesn't mention it at all.

I too don't think it'll come. Too bad, because the reason I didn't buy the first one is because I'm confident we'll never see the second one. It must be the completist in me.

I have the same problem, I'm a completist also and it really bugs me to have portions of a series sitting on a shelf knowing the remainder probably won't come (Like SOTB, MTM and a few others). Unfortunately, the compulsive part of me compels me to purchase the initial releases, even if I think subsequent volumes probably won't materialize. Maybe I need some medication.

I expected Son of the Beach #2 would be released at the time I purchased it, but can't say now that I'm really surprised that it hasn't (or isn't going to be), since the show pretty much faded away and has been forgotten after its inital run.

Mary Tyler Moore, on the other hand, surprised me. I fully expected all the seasons of this show to be released, and still can't figure out why season 1 didn't sell well.

I would love to pick up the 2nd volume to this. I just loved the first but you guys are probably right in that there wont be a release. Im just glad i got volume 1 for 19.99
