Fox's extensive lineup of December catalog titles due the 7th. Some of these are price reductions rather than being new to DVD. Perfect as stocking stuffers are a batch of ten minor catalog faves, all remastered in their original aspect ratios and lacking any extras aside from trailers, but retail price is $9.95 meaning around $5.50 - $8 a pop in stores:
Pact with the Devil
Man Trouble
Wild in the Country
Love Me Tender
Epoch: Evolution
Paris Texas
Partners in Action
Dragon Storm
Jack the Bear
Curse of the Komodo
Silver Streak
The Beverly Hillbillies

Not a fan of the movie, but I loved the late Jim Varney's comment while doing publicity for The Beverly Hillbillies, along the line of
"1,000s of actors have played Hamlet, but there have only been two Jed Clampetts."

Cool, it's about time. Ericka Eliniak (sp) is friggin' hot in that movie.

I am looking forward to this release. One of the few comedies I truly enjoy.

I've seen this movie about 50 times of the last 2 months, so it will be good to replace my worn out VHS.

The reason I've been watching it, is becuase my school is putting of a production Play of the Beverlyhill billies

anyone know if the original series will be released soon (and not the public domain episodes, that's missing the music)?

You should have watched the first few episodes of the actual series instead of the movie retread. They are a lot funnier and the movie is just a worse acted version of the same material.

I didn't hate the film, actually. It could have been a lot worse, and it was better than the reunion movie from 1981. But in comparison witht he first season or two of the series it is just lame.

We need an official, uncut release of Season 1 before we need to see Lily Tomlin impersonate Nancy Kulp....

Will it included the extended unrated version of the stud farm scene?

Varney and Coleman are great in this little gem....and Erika is sooooo easy on they eyes. This has been up for pre-order on Amazon for awhile now.
