Simpsons Season 5?

91. 1F08 (SI-508 / S05E10) $pringfield (Or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying
and Love Legalized Gambling)

96. 1F13 (SI-513 / S05E15) Deep Space Homer
97. 1F14 (SI-514 / S05E16) Homer Loves Flanders
98. 1F15 (SI-515 / S05E17) Bart Gets an Elephant
99. 1F16 (SI-516 / S05E18) Burns' Heir
100. 1F18 (SI-518 / S05E19) Sweet Seymour Skinner's Baadasssss Song
101. 1F19 (SI-519 / S05E20) The Boy Who Knew Too Much

They've been averaging 9-10 months between seasons so I wouldn't expect it until sometime in Spring 2005 or so.

And there's a really funny scene that's cut out of syndication. When Bart is watching everyone in Springfield on Burns' "Sliver" video monitors, he sees Homer eating a flower in the bathroom. Later, when everyone's yelling at everyone else, throwing accusations around, Bart yells to Homer "Well, you eat flowers!" Homer yells back, "My secret shame!" and starts to cry. So funny.

My favorite scene that's cut for syndication in season 5 is right outside of Burns' birthday, they're letting people in - in goes Reagan, Nixon, Clinton and as Bush Sr. is about to go in, a security guard grabs him, shoves him aside and says "Hey! No one-termers!" Off to the side, Bush stands next to Jimmy Carter who says, "They wouldn't let you in either, hu?", to which Bush replies, "Get away from me, loser!"

It seems to me that there are 11 months between them each. With the first season in like August, then season 2 in July, season 3 in June and season 4 in May (I think that's right, I could be wrong) if this is the fact. Then it would be out next April.

Close.

Here's the release dates so far:
S1: September 25, 2001
S2: August 6, 2002 (11 months)
S3: August 26, 2003 (12 months)
S4: June 15, 2004 (10 months)

Your guess is as good as mine! Hopefully since the delay between 3 and 4 was only 10 months, maybe 5 will come out next April like you already guessed.

i'm 3/4 through my season 4 set. and while i enjoy the commentaries, they are not nearly enough to warrant this slooooow release schedule. i mean on some commentaries they even joke about how this commentary isn't that good and that they don't know what to say. how are they gonna fill another 11+ years worth of shows with interesting stuff when they run out after 4 seasons?

here is my suggestion (not that anyone inolved will ever read it ): pick your 5 fav. eps from a season and do a GOOD commentary on those. screw the rest.

i need 'em F-A-S-T-E-R-!
