Viewers of CARNIVALE...Help! I need some info...

Hi guys. I need some quick info on Carnivale. Can you give me a quick overview of certain things on the show, such as...

Do most of the characters have southern accents?

Are most of the characters lower class/poor?

Also...how do you pronounce "Canaan", the town? Is it "Kay-nun", or "Kuh-nane", or something else? And what about the town "Mintern"?

These really are important questions, I promise!! Thank you very much for whoever helps me out.

Ben does sort of, but most of the others characters don't.

Yes, you cant get much lower than a carnie. Unless your a hooplehead.

Cant help you with the pronunciation of the town though.

While we are on the subject, are there any details available regarding a season two?

I believe there is going to be a second season (in addition to reading it elsewhere, the status on TV Tome is "Returning Series").

Season 2 has been filming this fall.

HBO is usually pronounced "Aych-Bee-Yoe," although the "Y" sound in the last syllable is not strictly called for.
