Anyway to Verify Authenticity of Band of Brothers DVDs?

Hello,

I recently purchased Band of Brothers from a seller on Amazon's marketplace. It was advertised as new and sealed with only a small dent in one corner of the tin. It came as described, but two of the discs had some type of scrape on the playing surface. Also, the area around the inner circle on most of them just don't look right. All of the discs have a small number code wrapping around the hole. The discs look authentic, but is there a way to tell from the code whether the discs are truly authentic originals?

Also, if someone who owns the DVD could let me know what code is on one of their discs I would appreciate it.

Thanks!

I have an authentic copy and there is no code on the inner ring. Inner ring is transparent plasic then a silver ring with the HBO trademark and aspect ration info surrounding it.

This info is also on the other side of the disc as well.

I don't know what else to tell, except that all my discs are labled in that way. I bought mine from Amazon.Ca back in 2002 so I am pretty sure that it is an authentic copy. It's too bad that you haven't gotten more replies to help in your inquiry.
