Final Fantasy X question?
I've been playing FFX and I'm wondering if there is a way to cast spells on multiple characters at once. Now I haven't played an of the ps1 FF games, but I remember on the US FF2 that you could cast the cure spells on all characters and the black magic spells on all enemies at once, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this on X and there isn't anything in the book about it.

You're just going to need more powerful spells. As you move more on the grid you will get them. Here is IGN's free guide if you need more help.

Certain spells are cast on all enemies. Also, I think there are some weapon/armor -equipped abilities that allow this as well. I'm playing FFX as well. I got to the final battle, and can't bring myself to just finish the damn thing.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there are some spells that can be cast on both one person or an entire party of people. To test which can and can't move the controller to the right when targetting a member of your party or to the left if trying to target multiple enemies.

If I remember correctly, there's no way to get spells to switch between single/multiple targets unlike previous FF games. There are spells that have a single target, and there are spells that target everything. Lulu's limit break randomly targets, and kimarhi's rages and rikku's mixes almost always targets everything.

I believe that if it's an attack or heal spell, push the D-Pad to the right and it will change the cursor to the entire party instead of just a single character. It definately is possible, but based on what type of spell it is.
I just got done playing X-2 and it worked this way for certain attack and heal spells.
