IMAX documentaries for $6.99 each shipped

IndieDocs is offering IMAX documentaries for $6.99 each with free shipping. Although they're not as inexpensive as those from PlanetDVDNow, IndieDocs makes up for it in quantity as it seems they have about 40 of the different IMAX documentaries available.

Credit for this discovery goes to bloggert over in the FatWallet forums. According to bloggert, another bonus of these DVDs is that they come in cases as opposed to sleeves (from PlanetDVDNow).

I received 3 Imax dvds (Mt. Saint Helens, Yellowstone, & Grand Canyon) from planetdvdnow.com last week and was surprised to see that they now include the cases. I also ordered "The Pledge" from planetdvdnow and that also included the case.

I have two of those titles in a box set. Alaska has DD 5.1 and no extras, Amazing Journeys has DD5.1, DTS and a making of featurette.

Thanks, I've been waiting for a bunch of them to go down in price. I've been finding them in Ross Stores for 6.99 plus tax so this saves me the 8% in Georgia.

I enjoyed The Great Barrier Reef & Amazing Journeys. I also purchased some of the higher priced Imax titles & enjoyed them as well (Tropical Rainforest & Shakletons Antartic Adventure)
