By far my best theater experience ever - Haunted Castle Imax 3D at Luxor in Vegas
Has anyone else here been to the Luxor Casino/Hotel in Vegas and seen the Haunted Castle Imax 3D movie? It blew me away. Simply stunning. The Imax screen is seven storys tall. They run a 50+ speaker, 30,000 watt sound system. I wonder how much this setup costs? The projector is the size of a small car. The Haunted Castle IMAX film is incredibly immersive 3D. It's almost worth a trip to Vegas just to see this. Do not miss this if you go to Vegas!

You do know they also had Spider-man 2 playing there... right?
And I prefer the Palms IMAX theater. While it's not as large as Luxor's, it's more comfortable and you can bring in food and drinks. The only problem is, in the past year, The Palms has had maybe only four or five movies play on their screen. It was awesome to see The Matrix Reloaded (IMAX DMR, also saw at Luxor), The Matrix Revolutions (IMAX DMR, also saw at Luxor), and Alien (35mm blow-up); but I'd like more of a selection/change-up.
