DVD Talk Special Edition
Although Mackinac Media, the DVDs' distributor, is pushing people to order this set directly from them (for the full $49.95 list price!) both Amazon and Barnes & Noble now have it up for preorder. Amazon's current price is $37.46 (25% off), but I'm hope other etailers (DDD, Digital Eyes, DVDPlanet, DVDEmpire, etc...) will carry the set...and for a lower price!

"Ask and ye shall receive!" DVDPlanet just added The Forgotten Films Of Roscoe Fatty Arbuckle to their preorder list: current price is $34.97 (30% off.) Still MIA at the other etailers mentioned above.

Sad to see this go OOP. Most of us already have it, but this makes it harder for new fans to find it.
The Laughsmith site is now promoting a silent era Our Gang collection (I'm there!)

Re: Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle DVD collection
Hello Friends!!
Need some help. Which do I buy: the 2-Disc Arbuckle/Keaton by Image or the 2 volumes by Kino. According to some reviews on Amazon, I might have to buy all because the quality of prints vary from each set.
Btw, r these dvds going out-of-print? What about Arbuckle's THE COOK (Milestone Collection)? Is that going out-of-print too?
thanx guys,
Pbishop69
