Ginger Snaps 3 back to the beginning

Does anyone know if the US release is OAR? Deep Discount lists it as full-frame. Is this another situation where we will be forced to buy the canadian release. Assuming it is OAR.....

Odd.

At CD-Wow they list it as 1.85 (Widescreen).

BrentLumkin is it the Canadain or the US release? Lions Gate seems to like giving the US full frame releases from my experience.

The US version of Ginger Snaps2 from Lions Gate is widescreen. It would seem odd that they would do part 3 in full screen.

Just watched it. Definitely anamorphic widescreen and a decent transfer at that. As far as the movie goes, it was good but not on par with the other two. Tons of blood and a creepy setting with the fort and all, but a little too much Indian mumbo-jumbo for my tastes. Did people actually say shit, fuck and son-of-a-bitch back in the settler days?

Out of five:
Ginger Snaps 1: ****1/2
Ginger Snaps 2: ****1/2
Ginger Snaps 3: ***1/2

probably more so than they do now! as HBO's "Deadwood" would attest too, and that was based on true events.

Why is a Canadian film released a week later in Canada? Strange, methinks, but as long as the A/V is good and the extras are substantial, I'm not gonna whine too much! Too bad it didn't get a theatrical release like the first two films.

Picked it up today. I am happy with this release, and hate to see the end of the Ginger Snaps series.

Any word on differences? I've been holding out on GS2 thinking that there might be a GS2+3 promotion from a CDN e-tailer.

I also hate to see it end. Its one of the only film series that I really dont want to go away because I really connect with the movies. The new one is alrite nothing too noteable but I still like it a whole lot. They should do another prequel though. Of them growing up and being the outkasts and shit. Dont even make it a wearwolf movie really, just tell the story of them growing up and im sure a love of people will love it.

I know that the American and Canadian DVD versions of GS2 were pretty much the same quality. Any news on the DVD difference on GS3 for US and Canada?
