Well, at least it appears they might be willing to make it rated "R", based on that pic. I liked her in T3, and if they make this really cool and bloody, with her looking sexy and evil, I'll surely pick it up on dvd.

Not the fact that it's based on a videogame? Or that it's directed by Uwe Boll?

They are moving pretty fast on this movie, it seems like just last month she was cast for the role.

They'd have to try REALLY hard to make this worse than the game.

This will be Ben Kingsley's finest work since either House of Sand and Fog or Thunderbirds.

What is the story of Bloodrayne? (never played the game, not motivated enough to go read up on it, heh)

I'm surprised this movie is even getting made. I mean, Bloodrayne? How many people have even heard of this game, and thought it was really that good.

The gore looks cute, but with Uwe Boll at the helm, it's sure to be a very funny movie. Not in an intentional way either.

Seriously, how does this guy have a career? Or more importantly, how did he get to be the go-to guy for adaptations of obscure or old video games? First House of the Dead, then Alone in the Dark, Bloodrayne, and Far Cry (with The Rock?!? And Naomi Watts?!?!?). Before HotD, he had a few unknown movies, which got decent reviews on IMDB, but nothing to write home about. Seriously, who is this guy blowing???

Are you serious?!? A Far Cry movie? WTF, the game was good DESPITE the story. Other than limited name recognition it brings nothing to the table for a movie. And by limited I mean those who have heard of it, but not actually played it.

Uwe Boll directed The House of the Dead, which is so shockingly unbelievably awful it defies description.

So, my hopes for this one aren't that high. At least we know it *WILL* be gory, because HotD was gory. But it still still suck beyond words.
