Fuse keeps blowing on my sub
I have a Polk PSW1200 subwoofer. I've had it for about 4-5 years now and its been awesome. This weekend it just all of a sudden stopped working. So I called Polk, and as I guessed, they said it was probably just a blown fuse. (just in case this matters, it’s a 250v, 5mm x 20mm, 5 amp, slow acting fuse)
So I hit the Depot and got a new fuse. Threw it in there and it worked perfectly. For a while anyway. Now its blown again (i'm assuming, but i haven't opened it up just yet to check to make 100% sure).
Does anyone have any idea why this would keep happening? I've tried 2 different power supplies (the newest one i just bought being a Monster HTS800) and it still happened.
If anyone has any idea, I would be forever greatful. I really love this sub and I don't want to have to give up on it.
Thanks,
Joe
