Since I'm still eagerly awaiting the rerelease of PLAYTIME by Criterion, I decided to email them to see if any schedules have been set.

Here's what I wrote:

We look forward to re-releasing PLAYTIME in the future, but we have no definite plans at this time.

No definite plans?? I think Criterion is probably rolling in the dough and are busy buying the rights to every film they can. They seem to be releasing more a month now.

That's a pretty standard response from Mulvaney. I'm expecting it early next year. I'd love to catch this theatrically but missed it when i played in LA last year.
