My Blade II audio is on the fritz!
When watching my Blade II dvd I noticed that some of the sounds (particularly when it gets loud with music, guns...so on) begin to rattle (crack) .............its the sound thats made when speakers have blown up or are too weak to handle the BIg BoomIng sounds.......I thought my Pioneer speakers and system was aging......so i hooked up a new Sony stereo system (with speakers) i had in my room, same thing........I said to myself ......impossible...no way can this new stereo have the same rattle sounds that my old one was experiencing...............
So I tried other movies like Black Hawk Down and T2: Judgement Day.................no problems with both my speakers and systems
So am I experiencing a bad copy of Blade II or an audio rot on this DVD?
I am very certain it had nothing to do with both of my stereo systems or speakers.

Hmm, now that's interesting. Never heard of audio degrading on a DVD. Did you check for blemishes on the disc surface, such as smudges or scratches?
Other than that, the only thing I would suggest is just break down and buy a new one. Blade II is currently in the Wal Mart discount rack. At least it is at my local one.
