Question About TV Remote Codes

Guys,

I know this may sound like a newbe story to many of you here, but here goes.

Walking through Best Buy today in St. Pete I saw an open box KLH KDT 133UY TV-DVD combo for just 80 dollars ($139 retail) and couldn't resist picking it up.

It didn't have a remote or instructions, but I've dealt with that before and have never had any problems with Sony or RCA universial remotes I've used before. I bought a Phillips universal remote on my way out of the store.

I got the KLH TV-DVD combo home and have it fired up, but now can't seem to access the universal remote code.

The Phillips universial manuel has the codes for KLH's DVD and VCR's, but not any of their televisions and after being unable to get their 'manual remote code finder'to work, I haven't been able to find virtually any info about KLH TV's in general on the 'net.

This TV was manufactured in China in March of 2004, so I wondered if someone could point me to another Far East company that might be using the same code or perhaps assembled this set for KLH.

If anyone has this code, or can point me towards it or the KLH official site, it would be much appreciated. The wife is in the midst of a bit of a meltdown about this at this hour....
