I Suck at NFL 2k1. Should I get NFL 2k5?

I turned on the old Dreamcast to play some NFL 2k1 to see how it was.

It was fun, but Rookie mode was too easy. So I turn it up to Pro mode, and I completely sucked. My front line always let's a guy get through, and I always seem to have a horrible passing + running game. I just don't know how to win.

I guess I want to ask if 2k5 is worth getting, as I really got frustrated with 2k1. This is for ps2 btw. . .what would I need to buy to get it online? I have a cable modem and a router for internet access on our two computers.

Can ps2 online play against xbox online?

Thanks,
Bez

PS2 can not play with Xbox. But to play online, all you need is the PS2 Broadband adapter. You can pick one up for $20 at Fry's or Outpost.com. Here's the link for Outpost: http://shop1.outpost.com/product/4088182

Yes, get 2k5, join the DVD Talk league, and play my team. Often.

I was pretty good at 2k1 but the last few versions (including 2k5) i completely suck with the passing game.I find it much harder to complete passes than the earlier versions, but maybe you will have more luck.

might as well get it... i sucked big time at 2k4 and i'll probably continue that trend w/ 2k5. but, for $15, i'm not complaining.

and, unlike 2k4, i'm having fun... carmen electra just called. she sounded a little disappointed that i couldn't play last night.

For $19.99 the answer is definitely yes!
