Rescue Me - Series Premiere - 7/21/04

Just a reminder that the Premier of "Rescue Me" is tonight on FX.

I really enjoyed "The Job" which was produced by the same team of people, so I have high expectations for this show.

USA Today seemed to give it a positive review.

I've seen nothing but positive reviews for the series. Looking forward to it.

Sweet they are adding Lenny Clark and Dianne Farr to the cast also! I loved the job so I have nothing but high hopes for this show.

I'm glad this thread was started, or I would have. I LOVE Denis Leary and welcome him in another series.

I've been looking forward to this all summer. It's got to be better than North Shore.

FX can do no wrong in my book with their original programming.

While I like what they're doing, I'll NEVER forgive them for their treatment of Son Of The Beach

I thought some parts were funny, but the overly dramatic parts just didn't grab me so far. The soon-to-be-ex-wife is easy on the eyes. This show makes me miss "The Job" more.

Damn, that was a depressing, but excellent, show. W/ a good dose of humor thrown in here and there.

I think FX has another hit on their hands.

solid show. the upcoming season looks extreemly positive. it's nice to have something, for lack of a better word, more mellow than "the shield". at least, for me, it's a nice way of pacing the shows.

"thats not a bag!"

I liked the episode quite a bit, it had a good amount of humor, even though the ending was a little depressing. The scenes from upcoming episodes looked pretty interesting also. I'll be watching again.

I thought it was decent

I thought when it focused onthe interactiones between the guys in the firehouse it was much better then when it just focused on Leary's character.

Ditto on this. How some shows get cancelled and then they leave such crap on always amazes me.

Line actually was..."that's not a box"
The guy was holding a bag after getting sent to get a box.

Anyway great show. I'm a huge Leary fan and thought The Job was a fantastic show.
I'll be there next week.

It was a very funny line in the show though.
