Wouldn't it be better to play a few levels legit than to scream through it with cheats? Can you really evaluate a game if you blaze through it on god mode?
Maybe I'm too old. I always thought the challenge was what made video games fun. I still haven't gotten 100% on Vice City because I refuse to even look at maps that tell where all the hidden packages and jumps are. If I looked and then got my 100%, what would be the point?

Never thought games like Baldur's Gate : Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath were that tough to even think of cheats or GameFAQs, makes me feel like I really do have mad game skillz, yeah!!!

My wife and I enjoyed playing the first Dark Alliance on the PS2, and I've got the sequel on my wishlist. How are the offline aspects of Everquest and Champions of Norrath?

I'm a big fan of the DnD world and was dissappointed that Snowblind Studios was hoping over to the Everquest world, a world I'm not too familiar with, but it's basically the same except for a few weird creatures here and there, with a whole lot of Diablo II imagery thrown in for good measure, especally near the end of the game, as well as the whole skill tree and crafting your own magic items with gems, etc. being yanked from Diablo II as well. The graphics/animation are gorgeous. I beat it in about a week, playing it after work, sometimes until 4am because it was so addicting.
I'm still waiting for a price drop on DA II, I'm done with paying $40-$50 for console games, I'm patient enough and have other things to occupy my time in the meantime.
