HD or Not HD
I feel like an idiot, but I seriously wasn't all that concerned at the time I purchased my tv about 2-2.5 years ago.
I ended up getting a Panasonic PT-47WX49 widesceen Front projection HDTV. It says HDTV on it, and I know it plays at those resolutions, because it reads progressive out of my dvd fine (I think that plays at that resolution?)
At the time I sorta remember something about needing a tuner or something, is that just the standard cable hdtv box, you can get with some cable companies, or do I need to purchase something else? I ask because I decided with sports using it more I want to get it going on.. I didn't see anything in my manual etc. either.
I searched around on the tv, and didn't seem to find much. Help Please.
Any help is greatly appreciated and my tv watching will also be thankful.

Secondly you have a "HD Ready" TV which means it can display a High Def signal but it can not decode it. All you would need is to either rent a HD cable box (usualy around $5 a month or so) or get a High Def Satellite receiver. Either way that will allow you to watch HD video on your HDTV.
Be aware that to watch anything on your local braodcast networks in HD you need to either have a HD satellite receiver (or stand alone HD decoder/tuner box) and a antenna to receive you OTA local nets or your cable company must be carrying your locals networks over it's system.

I was confused about the resolutions obviously, but I thought that was the deal with the receivers. I know most cable places just rent them it seems like, I can't wait to pick it up. I mainly want it for just espn and stuff.
