meh
I don't get the sudden attitude change in Matt. Maybe if they didn't bring him in every other episode it would be better.
The music they played in the beginning over the scenes with the duaghter was just creepy.
Their wasn't much of a surprise in the other story. You knew Christian would manipulate Kimber somehow, and also that Wilbur's father would take him in the end.

That was creepy. Definitely a lackluster and predictable episode. You knew that Wilbur's father was going to change his mind by the end. Oh well - they can't all be winners.

I agree -- not the best episode of the season. Too predictable (both with the daughter's toxic shock and Christian's outcome with the baby). Christian did manage to get in another good one-liner though during the restaurant scene:
Kimber: "There was a line at the bathroom."
Christian: "I'm sure there were several lines."

How long does it take to eat your septum away? Ive known some real snaggleheads in my life, but none did that kinda damage.
BTW, Couldnt Christian put Kimber in rehab, her state is kinda his fault

It looked like he was going to help her, does her nose job, then boom! BIG brotha porn is next on her schedule. Think we will see her off herself in Christian's house later this season?
And from next week's clip
Just fully appreciated the irony of Dr. Troy's first name during the church scene.

The bigger irony is when you put it in the context of Christian's experience with the Catholic church as a child - remember the S1 episode where they unwittingly (initially) help the priest get away with pedophilia.

This was my first season trying out this show and I simply do not like it at all. It is NOT true that if you like The Shield you will like this show. Last night's ep. was gross, predictable, and boring, and it was my last time watching this show.
(But hey, that's just me...)

Plus you can't just dive right in and watch S2. You really need to watch S1 first.
Frankly, there is little in common btwn The Shield and Nip/Tuck except that both are edgy and push the envelope. I have no idea why someone would say if you like one you will automatically like the other.

It's definitely edgy. I don't think many networks would have been comfortable showing the looking up at some eight year old girl's thing nor the bath or the "wolf" story.
Any thoughts on what will happen to Matt? He lied so the obvious thing to happen would be it coming back to kick his ass. I'd be surprised if they let it go, but that's what I think will happen.

Finally watched the latest episode. Nothing comes easy for these 2 plastic surgeons. You knew Wilbur was going home with the biological father after he watched how ferocious Christian wanted his lawyer to be in going after Gina. The way Christian has to channel the pain in this episode was pretty sobering, including the pain of Kimber's life spiralling out of control, and Mrs. Grubman's struggle to stave off father time with all the surgeries. Will Christian go toe-to-toe with a bout of depression as well considering what just transpired? Christian's got a much larger hole in his heart now compared to the one previously in Kimber's nasal septum.
Sean's home life troubles paled in comparison to Christian's issues, but there's more trouble brewing with Matt, but at least Julia and Sean confronted their daughter's early development head on and did their best not to sugar-coat the fact (while side-stepping Mrs. Epstein's attempt to paint a more mysogynistic view of the world at that bizarre party held in honor of early menstration).
Where have I seen Mrs. Grubman's daughter before?

Pretty m'eh episode. I can't believe they just completely dropped Matt's subplot for this episode. They should've at least had a line or two to keep it going.

MAYBE I'll consider getting Season 1 Disc 1 from Netflix and trying that out, but I haven't liked anything about Season 2 thus far (understanding that one man's trash is another man's treasure).

All I have to say about this season... It's a good thing they're the only surgens in town, because they have had more f//k ups then successes this year... Great show, good episode this week.

I was thinking - what show is this? S2 is completely different from S1, in tone and theme. It's almost like I'm watching a different show. I'm glad S1 had a resolution (for the most part). I'm very disappointed.
