David Grohl drumming for NIN?

Trent has put up a studio webcam and this was captured from the cam, looks a lot like David Grohl, would be real interesting if it was. I could see it happening since supposedly he is going for a more stripped down album.

this looks like it could be in a really scary horror film, played with the right creepy music.

I read this on the prp today:

(11:52 PM PST 07/11/2004)
Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters/Nirvana fame will reportedly be guest appearing on nine inch nails' upcoming new album "Bleed Through". A release date for the effort has yet to be announced.

I amazed that you can tell who the guy is in the webcam. Looks like just a mustached guy to me.

But a Dave Grohl and Trent Rezner combo sounds interesting.

Yep, he will be guesting. There was much more vague footage before that little clip that people discovered it was him in. Should be interesting.

That looks like Grohl. I recognize the chest tat because I was just watching the Tenacious D DVD last night and they showed him bare-chested while being madeup for the devil makeup in a video.

Here's a screencap:

From NIN's Access page:

enter dave grohl. working with him has been one of the most inspiring and exciting experiences I've had in the studio. the tracks he's played on (all 15), have come alive in a "better-than-i'd-ever-hoped-for" type of way.
Interesting.

Also he says the closure DVD and a special 5.1 audio edition of The Downward Spiral will be out this fall!!!! Woot!

He says early 2005 now. We might get new Tool and NIN close together! I'd rather have either/or sooner though hehe.

He sure does! I must say though, if Danny from Tool worked drums for Trent my testicles would probably explode with joy.

Early 2005 works. A tour in early 2005 would continue my trend of seeing NIN once every 5 years or so. 1995, 2000, 2005... that works. Hope Closure really does come out on DVD this fall. I haven't watched it on VHS since the first time after I had to return my first set because the stereo was ****ed up. Goddamn VHS.

It would be pretty damn sweet if Dave Grohl went on tour with NIN. Methinks there are too many occupational hazards to worry about for that to happen, though. Who knows, Trent Reznor at 40 may not be as into smashing keyboards and shit up on stage.

Didn't Tommy Lee (Motley Crue) and Stephen Perkins (Jane's Addiction) guest drum on some tracks on THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL? This news shouldn't come as too much of a surprise, sounds cool nonetheless.

I'm assuming Jerome will still be the touring drummer. He fit pretty well with the last tour, and unless Trent changes the atmosphere of the show quite a bit, I don't see Grohl fitting in real well on the road.
