The Day After Tomorrow -- > Oct. 5!

Fox will release Roland Emmerich's "The Day After Tomorrow" in a single disc with lenticular artwork similar to the one used for "ID4". Two filmmaker commentaries, deleted scenes, and a DVD-Rom link to a behind the scenes featurette are all that is listed at this time. Retail is their usual $29.98.

A $10 rebate offer for purchasing 3 of Fox's 8 title fourth quarter line-up, expected to include "Garfield: The Movie", is included.

It's like (I think) one of those pictures that if you hold one way you get one scene, and when you tilt it slightly, you get the other scene. Kind of like the cylon eye on the Galactica set.

Too bad Fox discountinued their Five Star Collection line. This title would've been perfect for it. I may hold off to wait on word about a bigger set (as dryars mentioned).

El-Kabong.... you are correct, sir!

Do you have a picture of the cover artwork.

October 5 must be a magical day.

Godfather 2, 3, and the Aladdin Special Edition come out on that day.

Now I hope Van Helsing comes out on that day.

damn it! No DTS track! Damn it! A movie of this size deserves DTS! I saw it in a DTS theater and it sounded amazing!

That would look all sorts of cool without the quote and text.

So what would be the other 6 titles?

- I, Robot?
- Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story?
- Napoleon Dynamite?
- Garden State?
- The Clearing?

Any others?

I'll end up in a different region release with DTS most likely. I'll get mine when it does.

As mentioned, AVP.

That sucks about no DTS track. This movie SCREAMS for DTS.

Also, as of now, out of those films, I'll only buy The Clearing and Dodgeball.

they've announced two editions here in Sweden, both due out for release on October 13th.. one will most likely be the 1-disc release the US is getting, and then there's a 2-disc set, so don't be surprised if there's another 2-disc release coming out in R1 shortly after.. i can't imagine them waiting for very long to release the 2-disc set in R1 when it's coming out day and date with the 1-disc release here in Sweden (and the UK too).
