I asked fox, the same question last week because I noticed that season 2 is coming out at the tale end of summer for region 2, but region 1 hasn't been announced. They said that they are working on seasons 2 and 3 and that season 2 should be out in region 1 around thanksgiving, but due to dissapointing sales, the special features will be considerably less.

That's quite odd. How are fewer special features supposed to improve sales? Are special features going into other region's releases? If so, they've already spent the money; why not put them in the R1 release?

I've heard Season 1's sales were quite good. And that Season 2 is currently scheduled for release in early October in the US...

As per Digital Bits...

Roswell: The Complete Second Season streets on 10/5 (SRP $59.98) on 6 discs, which include audio commentary tracks (by the writers, producers and directors), the A Little Something Extra for the Fans video montage, a storyboard to scene comparison, and the featurettes Here with Me: Making of Roswell Season 2, The Shiri and Majandra Show, and Art of Composing Roswell.

Thanks for the news. I have been wondering when this would come out. Oct. 5th is turning out to be an expensive day for me

I bought Season 1 as a blind buy and it has become my favorite show. I thought that the rest of the seasons wouldn't see a light of day, but I'm glad I was wrong. Bring it on.

Commentaries on the Second Season are on episodes: "Ask Not," "Roswell Christmas Carol," and "Cry your name"... and remember special features are subject to change, just look at the season one release!

I would assume almost all of the music would be changed. Wasn't it in the S1 release?

You're right.

I never purchased it figuring if I were going to it would be best to wait until they offer a 2 or 3 pack discount but just checked the review that said it was replaced.
