"Retarded girls like the zoo" from Rocky

I rewatched Rocky 1 & 2 last night, and I noticed something I never thought of before. In Rocky 1, Gazzo (the loan shark guy that Rocky works for) has a bodyguard that hates Rocky, and he tells Rocky to take Adrian to the zoo on their first date because "retarded girls like the zoo." In Rocky 2, Rocky proposes marriage to Adrian at the zoo. Maybe it is just me, but I thought it seemed funny.

You say you watched ROCKY and ROCKY II?

Why not ROCKY III? That's where the series should have ended.

End the series without Ivan Draco? You must be inebriated.

I watched Rocky 3 & 4 the next day. Was Mr. T ever in any other movie besides Rocky 3? I used to love him in the A-Team, but I wish he would have done more movies.

I think Mr. T was in DC Cab also. It was after that he realized he had reached the pinacle of his career and slowly faded out of the limelight.

Thanks for the tip!

I was going to take this clinical retarded girl I met to a four star Zagat rated restaurant. She says she likes meat. I asked her what kind? She just said 'Meat' and flapped and gestured wildly.

I'll save some cash and buy her hot dogs instead at the zoo.

No, I'm serious.

ROCKY III would have enabled the series to end with some dignity.

ROCKY IV, while it was entertaining, was a joke. A robot subplot?
Sly was on autopilot when he wrote that one.

DC Cab got robbed at the Oscars that year, "whitebread" (not you; just quoting from the movie for those that don't know)

I believe, but I'm not certain, the line is "Take her to the Zoo, Rock, Retards love the zoo."

Just trying to make it complete, and I could certainly be wrong on that.

It just seems funnier as retards versus retarded girls.

You guys are forgetting that it's Rocky who loves the zoo...not Adrian!

"I love the zoo...espeically when it snows".

Adrian only "likes" the zoo!

I can't believe no one's mentioned the Dead Milkmen's immortal classic "Takin' Retards to the Zoo."

Here's a funny little flash video I found for it.
