Help me decide which DirecTV Tivo receiver I should buy.

I am going to upgrade to a DirecTV DVR receiver when I move next month and I am not sure which reciever to buy. I want to pick up one of the $99 dollar ones, but if it is worthwhile I am willing to spend more.

A few notes:
I am also buying the Pioneer DVD Recorder w/ 80gb HD that costco is selling, I need a receiver that will allow me to easily transfer from the Tivo to the DVD Recorder. I would also like to have one that I can easily hook up to my computer to capture video, but that is not essential (just a nice perk).

Any ideas?

I was under the impression that other than HD size and appearance, they were all the same in terms of inputs, outputs etc.

they are all the same, all made in the same factory in mexico with a different bezel slapped on the front

the samsung 4040r is the nicest looking one

your gonna end up paying more monthly for tivo svc with the standalone unit if you go that right

He'll also lose out on the compression-free image, the dual tuners and the integrated Tivo/DirecTV guides -- which are all the key reasons to get DirecTV with Tivo.
