About the GI Joe volume 2 review

So the 98 million dollar question is - Did Rhino screw up the opening credits again? For the bulk of the first boxed set, the Season 1 credits were replaced with season 2 (the one with Serpentor and Sargent Slaughter - both of who didnt show up until later in the run).

I didnt see it mentioned in the review anywhere. Did they use the correct credits this time around?

I don't actually have the set to confirm, but I have to ask whether you really expect Rhino to release any of their properties on DVD without significantly altering it. They haven't managed that so far.

Yeah, but they were getting better. By the time the last Transformers set came out, they seem to get the process down with the original sound, not messing up the restoration and whatnot. Then they take this huge leap backwards.

I'll still buy the set either way - I'd just like to put my mind at ease.

I'm at work right now so I can't confirm but I don't recall seeing Sgt. Slaughter or Serpentor in the opening credits on this set.

I'll double check after work though and get back to you.

Thus far they do have the intact Season 1 intro (entirely on disc 1 and so far the first 2 episodes of disc 2)

Ugh. Yeah, I'd love to own these shows (as well as Transformers) but not with all of the screwups.
