This Brittish singer released a PHENOMENAL debut album "Heaven" in 1997, and I haven't heard a thing from him since. I don't understand. This guy had a great voice, great production, and great lyrics , whichI believe he even wrote some of. IN any case, I am shocked that some studio that he was on, didn't do anything else with him. Truly Sad! I heard he is amazing live, so it can't be because of that. I would really appreciate any information that anyone has on what he's doing now. It's sad that talentless hacks these days in the music industry get so much exposure but people like Jai just float away with few people even remembering him or his classic album.

Wow! Someone else who actually knows who Jai is. I asked this question about a year or so ago and only heard crickets. I wonder from time to time what happened to him as well. I first saw him on the "Rosie O'Donnell Show" and his voice just blew me away. I ran out and got the album immediately. By some small luck, I noticed in my local City Paper that he was playing at a tiny bar here in D.C. not too soon after that. So I went with some friends. There were only about 75 people there, but it was a great show/performance. He even hung out with everyone afterwards at the bar so we got a chance to talk to him. Really nice kid. As talented as he is, I thought for sure he'd be around for quite some time. And yet, we see have the likes of Clay Aiken polluting our airwaves. No justice.
