Why are threads in Forum feedback and support being closed??
Right, so I asked about my duck thread, got the reply that it lacked intelligent thought - ok.
But why did you, X, close the thread?? Why not allow me to engage in open dialogue with you regarding the closing of my thread?
Wait a few minutes and he'll close this one too.

Generally most of the threads in this forum would have been left open, but more and more we're seeing people treat this forum as if it were the Other forum. Most replies in a thread here end up having virtually nothing to do with the issue at hand.
Of course, when a thread is started to question a moderator's actions and the person posing the question is told that it is a matter that should be handled via email it also makes sense to ensure that route is used.
So, as long as we seem to have people jumping in with nothing relevant to the discussion, it seems closing these threads when a question is answered keeps feedback in Feedback and other discussions in Other.
