True Romance - blind buy?

Every QT film I have seen I have loved and enjoyed and a while ago I had heard QT wrote True Romances script. I've been wanting to rent it buy my locale video store has been out constantly. Is this DVD worth picking up being a QT film buff and never taking a glimpse of this?

I really enjoyed it; it's a quality Tony Scott/QT collaboration. If you like both their movies you'll like this one.

Yes, and make sure you get the 2-disc Director's Cut version (with black and silver packaging). It's got tons of great extras, including a commentary by QT. Well worth the cash, IMO.

This is actually my favorite movie QT has been involved with. It is so tight Christian Slater does not mess it up.

My favourite scene in the film is with Christopher Walken and Dennis Hopper.

This is a great movie, and a great QT film. I would definitely buy it.

I second that one.
Although I'm not a hugh fan of many of Tony Scott's other films, I like TR more than any movie that Quentin ever directed.

It is scary how emotionally powerful that scene is. For some reason it just gets me hyped. Other great ones are the Gandolfini-Arquuette scene and the Oldman-Slater scene. It was "white-boy day."

Great movie, endlessly quotable. Buy it, don't look back. Talk in fragments.

This is one of the very few films I would whole-heartedly recommend as a blind buy. And if you like Tarrantino, you're going to love this movie.

Awesome movie. Lots of good cameos and bit characters. Val Kilmer, Bronson Pinchot, James Gandolfini and Gary Oldman.... the list goes on.

Cool soundtrack too.

I tried watching the movie a few months ago for the first time but I just couldn't get into it. Maybe I should just dive in and buy the 2 Disc set. A good DVD package sometimes helps you appreciate the movie a little more.
