Any "Mods" out there? - Not "Moderators" - "Mods!"
Just wondering if there's any fans out there of the fashion, music, style of the early 60s, 70s, and 80s.
I'm a huge fan of:
Paul Weller: Forget the Jam (who were fantastic), his solo stuff blows away virtually anything they ever did.
Ocean Colour Scene: Love all of their albums, particularly Moseley Shoals - my favorite album since it's release.
Small Faces: If there's a better band that no-one's heard of, I don't know who they are...
The Who: Of course - awesome!
The Untouchables: Since they're local and achieved some fame (they were in Repo Man!) it was fun to go see them and I have a soft spot for them.
Wondering what other bands any "Mods" out there like. Of course, there's all the Marvin Gaye's, James Brown, Otis Redding, etc.'s out there. I'm always on the lookout for some good R&B (60's R&B, not the crap out there today).
Any Vespa/Lambretta riders out there?
