Cool. So there are still a few episodes to go. Was kind of stoked to see the finale tonight, but then that would have meant no more good TV for about 3 months.

There's 15 episodes to this 3rd season. The previous seasons only had 13 episodes each.

My friend, I highly suggest you stay tuned for the S2 of Nip/Tuck, which premieres the week after the Shield. You'll love it

I've heard good things about that show. Just have too many shows on my plate for now. 24, Shield, Sopranos, CSI, Law & Order, but with most of those having ended already, or ending soon, I'm sure I'll have room for a show or two over the summer.

Solid episode tonight.

Did anyone else think for a second we were going to end up with a Claudette nude scene

It'll be interesting to see where the strike team goes from here. Vic was obviously upset with them voting him down for the money.

Claudette: "You look tired. That cat still keeping you awake?"

Dutch: "No."

Decent episode, but the tension seemed to be lacking to me. The ugly chair thing was pretty funny, though.

I thought "Riceburner" was okay, not a great A plot, but plenty of B subplots a-brewing within the Strike Team (Cleetus's marriage comes to light, the team not letting Vic have some of the money for his children's therapist), and also with the G-man's vigilance over the Money Train money.

But next week looks much more interesting as internal strife within the Strike Team takes its toll.

This episode was almost a necessary breather given the last few. Plus it is good to see the beginning of the crumbling of their plan for the money train loot - it was bound to happen eventually.

I second the advice to continue watching F/X in this time slot for Nip/tuck after The Shield ends.

Oh yeah, if you like Shield, definitely catch Nip/Tuck. I'm also really looking forward to Remember Me. That one looks promising as well.

For a second, I thought Dani was going to give that guy her number.

Dutchboy... he's a sicko (or becoming one, and liking it).

This was a welcome change of pace all around. Doing a favor for a politician to get those ugly chairs, Vic and Aceveda turning the Korean community upside down to find the bad guy and Vic's personal troubles.

Seemed like it was Ronnie and Lem who were behind the no vote on loaning the money to Vic. Eager to see how things begin to fall apart for the strike team next week. Will Vic be able to hold things together? Tune in next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel.

Them saying no is the smart thing to do, Vic even said so. I saw the preveiws for next week and
Spoiler:
It looks like Lem and Ronnie were really smart by saying no.

I enjoyed this episode, which is great because I thought the last two (Aseveda's revenge and Dutch's interrogation) were kind of week. This week got back into more of Vic, which is good. The only bad part was Claudette in the shower. :shivers:

Based on last nights episode it looks like they gave that guy ALL the marked bills. The Treasury guy should be really suspicious of that.

Ooh-wee, that's a rough looking woman.

Sad subplot with the abused wife robbing stores to get some getaway money and then being shot dead.

Was Danny actually contemplating going out with the "playa". Yikes.

Who was that guy who tagged along with Danny and Jules looking for the chairs? He was hilarious, plus he looked really familiar to me.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Vic should've included a few thousand more in unmarked?
