Does anyone know the release date for the EE of Return of the King?

I checked the release list here and found nothing. Also Amazon.com but, though they had the item listed on their website, they had not release date posted.

Wasn't it around September or something? Anyone know?

Nope - I don't think it's been announced yet.

Wasn't there an interview where they said it would probably be right before Christmas? I remember readin something along the lines of Jackson being too busy to get it done on schedule, but now I can't remember where I saw it.

Living Dead, when I was watching the Critcs' Choice Awards (I believe that was the one) Peter Jackson won Best Director (I believe) and he wasn't there. Pan to a video monitor and he was in New Zealand "working on the extended version of Return of the King".

This was back in January. So it has to be done or almost done by now.
