This is going to be interesting, I know that Jack says that he's going, but we know that he really can't since he's the main character in my mind. What's going to be interesting is how they are going to get him to stay.
This is the second best drama on TV right now...
... second only to Everwood.

Good episode, not great, but good.
I thought it was funny how Martin was 'out of the loop' on the Sam and Jack thing... then he had go test the waters to see where he stood. That had me laughing.

I don't think he'll leave, but maybe that's just wishful thinking. I REALLY hope what's-her-name doesn't end up running the unit, as was suggested, because she is my least favorite character in the show. Too sugary and condescending for me.

You just know that a Mackensie Phillips character can be up to no good. I wonder if they offered here the role of the crack mom first and she turned it down.
Of course he is not leaving - just doing it to create a cliffhanger.

Jack's not going anywhere.
Is that the first time that they actually came out w/ the fact Sam and Jack had an affair? I know they have alluded to it over the last two seasons, I just don't remember if anyone ever said anything for certain.

Can't remember.
Of course, nobody did the subtle hints of a co-worker affair better than the writers of Law & Order re: Jack and Claire.

When Jack was making up with his wife, Sam was talking to him and said something to the affect of "So we are really over" through her tears. That pretty much confirmed the affair. I don't remember Vivian finding out there. Then there was the audit of IA that had Jack and Sam leaving at the same time, call logs, etc, that made it seem like an affair.
