I'm probably going to pick this up at some point no matter what since it is anamorphic but would still enjoy seeing a review if only so others might look into it (almost positive it is just a bare bones release).
Haven't been able to find a review via the various review search sites yet.

The DVD is barebones, and the movie is shown in anamorphic widescreen. I haven't watched it on an excellent system yet (only used a standard 27" TV with a pretty good surround system), but I don't remember any problems with the video or sound. It was, of course, much better than the taped-off-TV VHS copy I previously had.
It's also cheap - $9.36 at DDD, or $12.99 at Borders (if you want it right away and have a coupon or discount-worthy person around).
This is an excellent, hilarious movie with a great cast (Carol Burnett, John Ritter, Christopher Reeves, Marilu Henner, etc.) that hasn't been available in any form for years. I was very happy that they didn't release it fullframe only.

I finally received this dvd from DDD. The picture (16X9) and sound are very good considering it's a cheap bare bones release. There are no extras. It's a great little gem, worthy of at least a rental.
