Now that Spidey is off the bases, we need some dumb promos!
The good news is that Spiderman will NOT be on the bases in MLB .... the bad news is that someone actually thought this was a good idea.
So..... what really bad ideas can we come up with to promote movies? To qualify, they need to be at minimum stupid, probably tasteless, and possibly offensive to some. (We can do this without getting vulgar, I hope!)
Here are a few modest suggestions:
Ads on donor cards at blood banks for Van Helsing.
Promos for The Passion of the Christ on communion wafers.

Instead of having the blocks that say "Outrageous" or whatever covering up the girls in GGW infomercials, they should just throw on movie ads. Man she's got a nice rack of....spidey.
