Undead (2003) Aussie flick avail from Amazon.de
I see that Undead will be available May 24 from Amazon in Germany. It doesn't list any features nor if it'll be widescreen or not. With shipping to US it comes out to 32 euros or about $39 US
Now, I saw this movie in Toronto at the film fest and had fun with it, but $39 is a bit steep to pay. It's the high shipping fee that kills the deal.
Anyone know where else we can get the R2 PAL German release more affordably and what the specs of the dvd are?

Doesnt say much though. And does anyone know if this release will be cut? The Germans often cut their horrorfilms.

This film is excellent...funny, gorey and intelligent!
The "Making of" special is really intersting, full of funny anecdotes and behind the scenes footage.
If the German release doesn't have this, then I would highly suggest waiting for the Australian release.

FWIW & FYI: ...note that the German DVD is quoted as being 100 minutes (FSK rating = 16 = therefore pretty sure to have been cut!!!) - whereas the Australian DVD quotes a playing time of 104 minutes...

I dont know! The version on DVD is the same I saw in cinema at the Fantasy Film Fest in Cologne last year., where the uncut version was shown. Here in Germany a lot of movies are cut because of violence, but Undead isn`t. Even on the backside of the cover it is said, that this is the uncut version.
