American Idol, 24, and whatever else is on cable...

I try to start threads for shows that I watch that are usually discussed on the forum. I do it a few hours early as a reminder for some that a new ep is on.

Where were you last Friday when I forgot that "Touching Evil" was on?

Anyway, I think Calamity Jane from "Deadwood" is on Blue tonight. I doubt we'll be hearing many "c**ksuckers" and "f**k yous" from her tonight.

I only have basic cable - hence no Touching Evil for me to watch. So sorry.

And I still haven't had a chance to catch Deadwood yet, though they are all saved on my sister's Tivo for me.

Another great episode - Dennis Franz and MPG both shined.

They actually held back w/ Gibson for an entire episode - he was surprisingly...normal.

Jen's apartment was creepy as all get out.

She really is a hell of an actress. Barely recognizable.

MPG has really held his own on the show. His confusion in the opening segment was priceless. I thought casting him was the death knell for the show. I'm glad to see I was wrong.

Very little Gibson

It looks like they're planting the seeds for a Clark romance with Gilseg's character.

Jen is a mess.

Always great to see the talented and delicious Canadian babe Chandra West, but it doesn't look good for her character...

Just makes me all the more at Junior when he could have simply stuck with the sexier and sane Rita.

Another good episode. I should have figured that Jen was going to end up going off her meds eventually. It seems like whenever a character in a tv show is bi-polar, it's only a matter of time before they go off their meds again. As usual, more great acting from Franz, and MPG was pretty good also.

Getting those two back together would be a proper sub-plot on their way to ending the show.
