TV shows that should be on DVD...

I can't believe that 90210 is not out yet. I wonder when the studio will decide to release it. But I am happy that Party of Five Season One should be out in the next couple of weeks.

So I started thinking, what TV series should be made on DVD:

90210
Dukes of Hazzard

I take that back. I just checked Amazon, and Dukes of Hazzard is comming out on June 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After looking, it looks like Tour of Duty will be released on DVD too. Wow, I guess they are really going to churn these DVD's out this summer.

Anyways, back to the list of stuff I want released:

Magnum, PI
Miami Vice

Parker Lewis Can't Lose.
Herman's Head
The Garry Shandling Show
The Job (w/ Denis Leary)
The State or Exit 51 (offbeat sketch comedy shows)
Punky Brewster (to reminisce about my youth. )
The Brady Bunch - With Commentaries by the cast just repeating "My God, what was I thinking back then? The clothes. The hair. The cheesy lines. The astroturf. I still have nightmares."
Family Ties.... don't laugh.

If any of these are coming out soon or are out, let me know please.

Hermans Head was a great show. It was part of a great block of shows on Fox. There was also a show that followed it with Tea Leoni. I wish I could remember that shows name.

Would love to see Adam West's Batman making it's way to DVD. Given all the legal red tape, it might be a while.

Flying Blind.

My two main picks would be Andy Richter Controls the Universe and Wonderfalls, but...ssshh! don't tell anyone...I'd also buy Big Wolf on Campus and Even Stevens.

I've said it once, I'll say it 1000 times:

The Greatest American Hero!

Also, wouldn't mind seeing The Six Million Dollar Man on DVD.

My pick is "The Andy Griffith Show".

According to tvshowsondvd.com, (and I quote)...

"A DVD package for The Andy Griffith Show - Season 1 is in-the-works, and could possibly even reach store shelves before the year is out."

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a speedy, high quality release.

Millenium is coming out within the next couple of months I think. If it does well it may spur Fox to do S:AAB.

Law & Order - yeah, S1 was released, but they should be on S5 by now. Same goes for Larry Sanders.

Is it too early to suggest Arrested Development?

Ralph Bakshi's The New Adventures of Mighty Mouse

Esp. TCMMOEG. Some of the best post-SCTV work to come out of its alumni. Esp. loved the Count Floyd segments.

My #1 most wanted show on DVD is the short-lived ABC series Homefront from the early 90's. I loved that show! It focused on several families in a small town after World War II.

The Wonder Years--and I can see them doing what Freaks and Geeks did with the limited edition. Maybe instead of a yearbook, it'd be a scrap book.

Fresh Prince of Bel Air

Family Matters

Older, Classic Nickelodeon shows

Hardcastle & McCormick - one of my all time favorietes
Airwolf
Scarecrow & Mrs.King
Farris Bueler (TV Show) - loved it when it was on

Melrose Place - guess it can be called a guilty pleasure but it was fun to watch (especially the season leading up to Kimberly blowing up the apartment)
