Chappelle's Show: Best of S2 (4/21/04)

Very surprised there was no "Rick James bitch!" But I'm sure they'll make a special out of it. Especially with thier new time day and time. Which is bullshit! Now I have to catch The Shield @ 11pm.

I can sum my feelings, about the day change, up in one sentence... "Is Wayne Brady gonna hafta choke a bitch?"

I didn't see it, but I'm not surprised there was no Rick James skit.

that skit took like fifteen minutes, didn't it? hard to put all the other good stuff in there, too.

The title was 'Best of Season 2: Volume 1 (Except Rick James)'.

I thought last night was the last "new" episode of the season. Tuesday nights should just be rerun shows.

I may have heard wrong, but the promo for Tuesday's show said it was new. It looked like it is going to be a compilation of musical guests, though.

I hope it includes the skit where he tosses around the words "bitch", "N***er" and "*****".

I was surprised that there were no Lil' Jon references in this episode.

I thought the Wayne Brady sketch was the funniest part of the season, I'm glad they included it.

Truly. "Is Wayne Brady gonna hafta choke a bitch?" is one of the funniest lines I've ever heard on television.

The Niggar Family was hillarious.

"MORNING NIGGARS!" Priceless

Since it was called Best of Season 2 vol 1 I guess there is a volume 2 coming. Maybe the Rick James Episode will be vol 2 or vol 3 or 4.

I don't know. Ever see the episode that was basically "The Worst of Chappelle's Show?" Whenever Charlie Murphy got into the time machine during the "playa/time haters" sketch, he would do this entire shake motion with his body. Chappelle even pointed it out to the audience/viewers at home. It was one of the funnier things I've seen during season two along with the gay gardner in a leather suit shaking his ass against a lawnmower to the hip hop song "Ass 'N Titties."

Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories and Wayne Brady were head and shoulders above everything else ever done on the show. Or on most everything else on TV, to be honest.

However, I'm somewhat glad they didn't air Rick James again. It was clearly the best skit(s) done... ever... so why worry about it. Show some different stuff. WBrady deserved the nod.

There would be no point. The Rick James skit took up the entire episode (with the exception of the "sexual agreement contract" skit at the show's beginning and the DMX musical segment at the end). If they would've included that, there would've been nothing else to show in the episode.

I'm sure Comedy Central will be rerunning that specific episode for a while at least until Season 3 debuts and the Season 2 DVD comes out.

Hoping for reappearances by this guy, just dropping him into a sketch ala Robotman.
