I recentlyreceived a duplicate Freaks and Geeks yearbook set after already paying for my first one.

I just want to know if I may have been one of the winners in the DVDTalk
giveaway?

Winners are listed on the contest page you used to enter.

But it's updated when Geoff has time, not when he selects the winners and sends out the packages, so there's some lag there.

I believe that he emails all the winners though, so if you didn't get an email, you probably didn't get it from Geoff.

Can you give me some idea as to what the title of the email might say? As we all do, I get so much spam I delete by just reading the titles. A few times DVDTalk newsletters have ended up in my bulk and spam email folders.

Would it be sent by the DVDTalk administrator?

I recieved a Finding Nemo dvd in the mail but I never recall hearing about winning it. It said www.kleinman.com in the return address thing so I figured it was from you guys. Weird but a nice suprise nonetheless.

We send the DVDs out with Kleinman.com as the return address as we found packages with DVDTalk.com had a habit of getting stolen in transit.

Filters have been a big issue with notifying winners. we used to ask for confirmation and address but now we collect mailing addresses at the time of the giveaway. So you'll know if you won if you get a little envelope in the mail from kleinman.com

Geoff...I am still awaiting DVDS that I <b>know</b> I must have won (I enter almost ever contest so the odds are with me). I guess I'll keep waiting. Might be lost in the mail.

Finally got an answer from Aimee (who was on the return label). I did, in fact, win the DVDTalk giveaway. I was pretty sure that it wasn't from DVDTalk because:

A) I didn't get an e-mail from DVDTalk
B) It wasn't sent from <B>Kleinman.com</B> which is what
Geoff said is usually on the return labels.

Yikes. I don't pay attention to mailing address, I always thought it was e-mail address. Oh well.

Which is exactly what happened to me today when I opened the mailbox and found Kill Bill Vol. 1 inside.

A big batch of giveaway winner DVDs went out this week. We got slightly backloged, but there should be some very happy DVD Talkers soon

Well, I finally won after 4 1/2 years. Arrived home yesterday and a package with Kleinman.com was waiting with a Wonderland: LE DVD inside. Didn't receive an email here either.

BTW, thanks Geoff for sending it First Class mail. Media Mail packages often tend to show up in several pieces with the disc(s) scratched all to hell.

Boy was I confused when I got home today to find a home theater system on my porch. I honestly thought somebody was screwing around with my credit card, but then I remembered the DVD Talk giveaway in September and it all made sense to me.
