Survivor - 04/22/04

I know it's a day early but did anyone catch the preview for tomorrow night's episode? I love how CBS hypes it up by showing a possible Amber stabbing Rob in the back scenario and watch it turn out to be something minor. She would be smart to seperate herself from him tho. It wouldn't surprise me if Tom, Rupert, Jenna & ShiAnn team up to break them up.

I'm still pulling for Rupert but the guy needs to wake up and stop trusting other people in this game. He's feeling all secure about his 'alliance' with Rob/Amber and its going to cost him the game just like it did in Pearl Islands.

I have a bad feeling that everyone else is going to continue to blindly follow Rob, and that Rob and Amber will be the final two.

Me too. What a horrible final tribal council that would be.

At this point, none of the other remaining players deserve to win. They've played horribly and have let themselves be deceived.

At this point, it never works out the way it looks like it will go down, so don't fret, folks!

As far as the hype, every single network does it and I am really getting sick of it. But I still think NBC is the worse. I am tired of having to hear for the twentieth time during one commercial break on scrubs that friends is once again not new.

Anyways, I'm sure someone will shake something up. That is why I liked Lex and Kathy so much the past few weeks. It seemed like they were the only sane people that saw right through Rob. I never liked him before, don't like him now, he might be a good Survivor but I still don't like him.

Sorry, it's not going to happen. The only remaining castaway with a brain was voted off last week. The rest of them alll believe Rob with take them with him to the final three and all they have to do is win the final immunity challenge. He will pick them off one by one.

I disagree, both were tricked by Rob to voting out Jerri. Lex and Kathy were fools.

They don't believe Rob, they're just using their heads like you guys aren't. There's no reason to boot Amber if Rob is going to keep winning immunity. If he starts to lose it - which it looks like he will this week - then that would be the opportune time to boot him.

However, I would rather see Shii Ann go first... then they can do whatever they want. She's the worst "survivor" ever.

I've not seen the commercials thanks to my TiVo , but it lists the episode title as "Stupid People. Stupid, Stupid People". That has got to be one of the all time best episode titles for any show!

They thought of the possibility of him turning though. They weighed the possibilities and then made a decision. Everyone else is just following him blindly, even when confronted about the fact that he can't take everyone to the top three. And Lex shook things up before that by booting Colby out.

No way Rob & Amber are the final 2 !

Look for Tom, Rupert, Shi-Ann and Alicia to form an alliance and get rid of Rob, Amber and Jenna.

What Lex should've done, when Rob wanted him to save Amber, is to boot Amber, and then, during the immunity challenge, goad Rob into taking a swing at him.

Two birds with one stone.

when are they going to do the gross eating challenge?

I'm hoping they'll do the gross eating challenge tonight. Wouldn't it be nice if they brought back the farfaru (the rotten fish they had to bob for in the Marquesas)? Remember how Rob couldn't finish it last time? I'd love to see a repeat performance from him tonight.

Oh no, it's the cut throat game where the survivor with the big mark on their back will get ganged up on (usually, if the rest of the survivors are smart).

Immunity challenge: Wow. The defining moment of the season. I always love the endurance challenges and THAT was absolutely incredible. It's all about how bad you want it. Great.

Since some folks got upset by the lack of spoilers, here goes:

Spoiler:

Rupert won the reward challenge in a game of trivia cut throat.

Shii Anne was on the chopping block, but managed to outlast both Rob and Rupert in the "hold your arm as long as you can" challenge.

So it'll probably be either Rob or Rupert that's going home...

Shii-Ann rocks, they threw it in her face she was going home tonight and she deserves to throw her immunity in their face.

Well, that was a surprise:

Spoiler:
Alicia is gone! I was surprised because it was time to get rid of either Rupert or Rob.

Good riddance!
Spoiler:
Alicia
is even more annoying than Shii Ann!

Spoiler:
Shii Ann will go next of course, unless she wins immunity again, and it is looking very likely that Rob and Amber will make it to the end. Everyone just has too much trust with Rob, and they had their chance to stage a coup and get rid of him this week and blew it. In terms of poor strategy, I think this ranks up there with Chapera (the new Chapera, the old Mogo Mogo) not voting off Amber or Lex deciding to vote off Ethan before Jerri. I'm sorry, but Shii Ann was right, these are stupid stupid stupid people.

I can't believe Rob survived. At this point he deserves the money because he has everyone snowed.

I guess we can dispense with the spoiler, eh?
