I didn't see it over there. I did see it at CDJapan but it is stated as OOP (as usual)

The main hook for me is DTS.

Yup! That's it. The movie blows.. But I always said if it had DTS it would be worth watching again.

I heard they included the Trailer of Day After Tomorrow inside the dvd also.

My friend just bought this New DVD Pack 2 DVD for 1500JPY in Tokyo.
Each pack has Independence Day DVD bundled into it.The 2 packs are Moulin Rouge, Ice Age,Titanic,Home Alone & Die Hard Pack.
Anyway my friend got the Moulin Rouge Pack and she said inside the Independence Day DVD there is a trailer for Day After Tomorrow.

Here is the link.I have to ask my friend back tonight about the DTS on the Independence Day DVD.I am sure only of the Moulin Rouge had DTS.I get back to you tomorrow on this matter

I think a good alternative to the Japanese Disc is the upcoming 2 disc set of ID4 in Australia.
