Kill Bill Vol. 1 R2 DVD Box Set PART 3

I live in CT, my package is in NYC right now (Sunday) which I think means I will get it tomorrow which means it was only in transit for 3 days!! Woo Hoo!!!

Anyone know if DHL delivers at certain times of the day, like after 4pm, around 1pm..something like that so I don't have to stay home all day? Also, if I leave a signed waiver note will they just leave it? Thanks for any help.

Again, Woo Hoo!!! Any other comments or thoughts of giddiness, post away...

Most parcel services will leave the package if you leave a signed note asking them to do so.

Well you should tell my delivery ladies/men that. I have had both of them, and FedEx leave packages for me when I have left notes asking them to do so.

I got a shipping notice from HMV at about 1am today so it looks as if its finally shipping out. $101 total after the currency conversion....definatly expensive but looks to be worth it.

I got my confirmation around the same time from HMV, but I checked my order at the site on Thursday night, & it said my order was shipping & on it's way, so the orders seemed to have gone out before the confirmation email.

I have a little bit of buyer's regret ordering from HMV, but at least I got the zip-up cover. I think the most I've ever spent for one DV before was $29.99 so this is a lot of money, if it wasn't for the T-Shirt I never would have ordered this knowing that the uncut versions will hit the U.S. eventually. But, it's probably already one of my favorite movies EVER, so I get sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

i use economy shipping also...
it depends on what service they use
for my case, the schedule date should be 17-26may,
but they used DHL so i received today (19apr)
in my past experience, it needed around 1 week by air postal (not DHL)

btw, i ordered 6 items including 3 kill bill boxsets this time

FWIW, HMV is apparently sending the DVD out over-night priority via Fedex. Tracking my package, Fedex shows it left Japan "this morning" and will be delivered by 10:30am tomorrow morning.

Mine is the same way. Makes me feel a bit better about spending $35 on shipping

People on the west coast will probably get the deliveries a little faster.

I got mine today but they just threw the box on my doorsteps. No ringing the door, no signing, just threw on my doorstep.

Yeah, just leave a $62 box set sitting in the sun for 4 hours. Some companies just aren't that bright...
