Video output problem with Philips 727

I was inspired by talk in the International forum to get a Philips 727 as my primary region-free player. I'd had it for a few months with no problems. Then yesterday, all the video outputs stopped working. I can still get audio fine, but the composite video out gives no picture, and the component gives a completely scrambled mess. Anyone out there have any similar experiences or any other insight into this frustrating matter?

You may need to get into the setup of the player to switch between s-video out and component out.

Since you can't see anything you'll probably have to use your manual to figure out the keystrokes in order to try this.

I used it for months without any problems through component. It doesn't seem likely that it would reset itself to s-video or composite without me doing anything, but anything's possible. I'll give it a try tonight. Thanks for the help

No power outages that I'm aware of.
But now I can't seem to find my manual to determine the keystrokes I'd need to push to switch the video out from the DVD menu. Can anyone who has a 727 help me out with the keystrokes to do this? Thanks in advance

Thanks a lot Frank, that did the trick. Now to figure out why my DVD player decided I wanted progressive scan in the first place...
Thanks again everyone for the help.
