www.avsforum.com. It is a forum, like DVDTalk, and not a review site per se. However, avsforum is the most comprehensive place to get feedback of HDTV sets. I would recommend you to read .this CNET article first for basic information regarding HDTV display technology, then go to a local electronic store to weed some of the choices out, then go to avsforum to search for info/feedback on particular models, then go back to the local electronic store to make the final decision. Good luck.

I second the AVS forum. It is a much more "serious" place then DVDTalk, but a great place to research, learn, and share on topic discussion about your equipment and HD stuff.
Word of warning, be sure to carefully read all the rules before posting (should you decide to post).
Good luck!

AVS forum is good, but it can also be a nightmare when when getting reviews. For every person who 'raves' about a product, there's another who 'disses' a product. LCD vs DLP vs CRT debate is a classic example of the bickering that goes on over there.
You hear nightmare stories about build quality, service problems, and defects. Enough to make your head spin.
Ignore the rhetoric at AVS and just get the facts. Then go with what you're feeling and not worry about what others think about your new toys. I feel AVS forum is good when you start having problems or want info on tweaking your equipment to get the most performance.

IMHO, of course!
