Looking for Paintable hangable thin speaker wire
I was hoping to run the surround wires inside the walls, but that's not possible. I'm hoping someone can point me towards some very flat sticky wire that I can run up the wall and then paint. I went to best buy but they didn't have anything that was thin at all. What are you guys using? And I only need like 16 feet total to make it to the floor, so jumbo spools are not needed.

The Monster junk from Crutchfield (link above) isn't even reeally flat--just thin. And very visible.
What you want is the AR (Acoustic Research) flat wire stuff, which I think is the same as the Gekko-branded wire above. Looks like the decorp stuff above, but it is a flat white *self-adhesive* tape. Just peel and stick, and put the included pin connectors on the ends. I used this for my surrounds in our loft, running the tape wire along a beam and down the wall, and after painting over it the wire completely disappeared.
I've seen it for sale at BB. Do some websearches to find it cheaper online...

My Best Buy doesn't have the AR stuff. I was looking for it when I picked up an AR cable today. It's not on BestBuy.com either. It looks like what I want, but the only web sites that seem to have it are no-name types and charging bogus shipping prices too. What about the stuff Radio Shack sells, would this work:
