WPT Hollywood Home Game #2: another train wreck

Lou Diamond Phillips, Norm MacDonald, Lolita Davidovich, Richard Karn, Fred Willard, and Camryn Manheim.

This was even more painful to watch than the first. In fact, I stopped it with a half-hour to go as it becomes heads up, saving it for later. And, yes, they pull the “Heads up” money gag.

If you missed tonight’s show, there’ll be replays on Thursday. I haven’t dropped any particulars, since I figure this might have snuck up on some of you.

watching it now, must have restarted at midnight since I came in at about 12:05 and they were all still playing. mentioned it was on at partypoker and had it spoiled for me, but I'm still watching since they only spoiled the winner not every hand
the "dealer" is hot

Make it stop. I love how Lolita checked off her killer hand, and a few minutes later everyone's talking like she's a brilliant player.

Worth it to watch, though, if only for that Slit in Shana's skirt.

Shana was looking especially good. Lolita and the dealer weren't bad either. Wasn't the dealer a player in one of the big tournaments a month or so ago? I remember she had this strange relationship with her 'coach'(Who was one of the red card pros, I think).

No one could play. I had high hopes for Norm but he went out badly. Lou Diamond seemed like a jerk to me. Lolita had no idea what was going on and Fred Willard's wife was playing for him. (And not doing herself any favors sitting at the same table with Lolita and the dealer.)

This made me wish for the high standard of play set by Celebrity Poker Showdown (cough cough).

I think you’re right about the “dealer” (I was wondering where I’d seen her, too). The pro in question is Jennifer Harman, a high-stakes pro out of Vegas. The other one is Daniel Negreanu, currently ranked 3rd in tournament winnings according to Card Player, and a regular writer for that magazine.

Yeah, this gig is making Celebrity Poker look good.

Considering how I stopped watching the first one after sixty seconds, I think I'll pass, although I do like Norm. As for the rest, UGH.

I wasn't paying close attention, but I assumed the dealer was Evelyn Ng. I thought she was the dealer last time around too.

Wow, was that difficult to watch. How many times did they have to ask what the minimum bet was? Geez.

Is there another Hollywood Home Game coming up? The shots at the beginning of the show had Ben Affleck in it, so I'm assuming that there will be a Hollywood Home Game #3.
