Eddie Murphy in Ladykillers?

I've seen Ladykillers twice already and in church scenes the choir conducter looks a lot like Eddie Murphy. I'd say it is definietly him except that he seems too short to be Eddie Murphy and he's not listed in the credits.

Anyone know for sure?

no no no, you see groucho, I would say it's most definietly him! It has to be him cause to me, it looks like him.. Perhaps he wanted to just stay uncredited. You know..

I'm glad you're not in charge of what movies get made.

Not even really a cameo. He's a characted in the Soap Opera that is playing on TV, with bad reception. I think it was right before
Spoiler:
Buscemi gets and axe in the back.

I *really* need to get out to see Ladykillers.

Re: Eddie Murphy in Ladykillers?

I know this is an old thread, but I found it when doing a little research on it myself... the choir director is Rickey Grundy - he's a dead ringer for Eddie Murphy too... Very animated, and is a Gospel Choir Director.

You're confusing Ladykillers and Blowfinger. Lawrence Fishburne was in the latter.

No because if you recall, Martin Lawrence and Ice Tea were busy doing the Fridays movies around that time.
